Fredo Viola is known internationally for his poignantly emotional vocal compositions and innovative video works. With a mixture of electronic and classical orchestration, his debut record “The Turn” was named #2 album of the year by Les Inrockuptiples and #4 by Le Monde.
He has performed on popular French television shows Taratata and One Shot Not and was nominated for a Prix Constantin. Fredo’s music has appeared in several films and television shows, including The O.C., CSI: Miami, Demme’s Manchurian Candidate, A Brilliant Young Mind and The Education of Charlie Banks.
His award-winning videos have been exhibited in festivals around the world, including the Clermont-Ferrand Festival, where he was also invited to judge the experimental category. He had a program of his works featured in Italy’s Corto in Bra Festival and The Periferias Festival in Huesca, Spain.
